Rose Garden 5K

Please join us on Saturday June 10, 2023 for the 2nd Annual Rose Garden 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk in Niagara Falls, NY. The race will take place at Hyde Park adjacent to the Rose Garden. The event is being brought to you by the Niagara Beautification Commission and proceeds will be used to provide funding for the great work they do throughout the City of Niagara Falls.

START/FINISH
Both the 5K race and 1 Mile Walk will start and finish in front of the Rose Garden at Hyde Park. CLICK HERE to view the proposed 5K course. The 1 Mile route is an out and back course through the park.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race at 10am. Packet pickup will take place near the finish line located just north of the ice rink at Hyde Park and directly across the roadway from the Rose Garden. All participants who register by Friday June 2nd at 9am are guaranteed to receive an official Rose Garden 5K t-shirt. A small quantity of extra shirts will be ordered and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis until they are gone.

Registration Fee: $30/$35 on race day

POST RACE CELEBRATION

All participants are invited to celebrate after the race at the Rose Garden/Oasis Pavilion. Race organizers will provide light food/snacks after the race.

PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking at the Hyde Park Ice Rink adjacent to the Oasis Pavilion.

AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Hand crafted trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female finishers and age group medals will be presented to the top three male and female runners in each of the following age groups.

14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and older.

CANCELLATION POLICY
There will be no refunds. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, etc), we reserve the right to postpone/reschedule the event at our discretion, or offer a virtual alternative if necessary.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Professional timing and finish line services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
